The fee for service
is on a sliding scale. The range in the area is $200.00-$500.00. Factors to consider are: the type of ceremony desired, the
amount of rewriting, meetings, distance, pre-marital counseling, the overall cost and style of your wedding, etc. Service
includes the initial meeting to discuss your ceremony options, a second meeting to finalize your ceremony, any additional
meetings desired, all necessary rewrites, the ceremony itself, and preparing and filing all documents. The average time devoted
to each wedding is approximately 10-12 hours.
Meeting with me prior to the ceremony
is not required, however, it is generally recommended. In this way, I can get to know you, and you can get to know me. The
meetings allow us to create the most perfect ceremony for your special day. In those instances where meeting is not possible,
communication through email, U.S. mail, etc. can be utilized.
Also, for those who would like to participate,
I offer Pre-marital counseling sessions. This involves an extremely comprehensive questionnaire and three meetings. The questionnaire,
and subsequent discussions, help to identify areas of strength in your relationship, as well as potential areas of conflict
in the future. Many times, you may have discussed subjects at one level, but going deeper reveals areas where more discussion
would help to minimize potential future conflict.
day of your ceremony, I will arrive 15 - 30 minutes prior to the ceremony in order to assist you with any last minute details.
Following your ceremony, I will file your license with the appropriate authorities within the required time.
